MileCell offers high-quality, isolated human plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) from peripheral blood, available in fresh format.
Plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) are a specialized dendritic cell subset with plasmacytoid morphology and high-level expression of TLR7 and TLR9, enabling them to sense viral nucleic acids and produce large amounts of type I interferons (IFN-α/β). As the principal producers of type I IFN during viral infection, pDCs bridge innate and adaptive immunity and play central roles in antiviral defense, autoimmune pathogenesis such as systemic lupus erythematosus and psoriasis, and tumor immunosurveillance, serving as an essential primary cell system for studying interferonopathies, antiviral immunity, and pDC-targeted immunotherapies.
MileCell's pDCs are isolated from fresh peripheral blood, with every lot validated for high purity, viability, and immunophenotyping by flow cytometry. Available in fresh format, they can be used in applications spanning TLR7/TLR9 stimulation and IFN-α release assays, antiviral immune response studies, autoimmune disease modeling, and the development of pDC-targeting therapeutics.
