Animal liver stromal cells for comparative studies of stellate cell activation and fibrogenic responses.

Hepatic stellate cells participate in matrix regulation and liver tissue remodeling. During injury-associated activation, their changing phenotype provides an experimental entry point for studying pathways involved in fibrosis and interactions with other hepatic cells.
MileCell offers cryopreserved hepatic stellate cells from selected animal species. These resources support species-specific activation studies, exploratory compound assays, and the development of hepatic co-culture models. Review the source and preparation information for each product, and consider how passage and culture conditions may influence cell behavior. Select the model and endpoints that are appropriate to your preclinical research question.
