Neuroscience Research
Immune cells, animal brain tissue and CSF for neuroscience workflows.
Neuroscience research draws on tissue models, analytical matrices and immune biology to investigate neurological mechanisms. MileCell supports selected components of these workflows with peripheral immune cells, animal tissue materials and cerebrospinal fluid products. These resources complement the neurons, glia and brain-specific systems required for direct studies of neural function.
Research Solutions for Neuroscience Research
Peripheral Immune Mechanisms
Investigate peripheral immune responses relevant to a defined neuroinflammation hypothesis using PBMCs or monocytes. Measure inflammatory signaling and cell health under controlled conditions, and compare donors where appropriate. Circulating monocytes and monocyte-derived models are distinct from brain-resident microglia. Use tissue-specific neural models when the question concerns direct neural or glial function.
Brain Tissue for Analytical Studies
Mouse tissue options include brain for selected tissue-based assays and control materials. Choose the preparation according to the intended measurement and confirm the preservation method. A frozen tissue or homogenate product does not provide live neural circuitry. Enzyme activity should only be assumed when the preparation is specifically qualified for that use.
CSF Matrices for Assay Development
Canine cerebrospinal fluid provides a species-specific matrix for analytical method development and exploratory biomarker workflows. Confirm sample handling, matrix characteristics and assay compatibility before use. Normal CSF should not be described as a disease-specific biomarker panel. Select calibrators, controls and study samples separately to address the intended analytical question.

FAQs
Can monocytes substitute for microglia?
They are different populations. Monocytes support peripheral immune research and should not be labeled as microglia without a separately validated differentiation and characterization workflow.
Does MileCell supply live neurons or brain organoids?
These products were not verified in the reviewed catalog. This page focuses on immune, tissue and fluid components.
