Human Immune Cells
Human immune cell sources for functional and translational research.
The cell source shapes the immune populations available to a study. Peripheral blood, mobilized peripheral blood, cord blood and bone marrow have distinct compositions and research uses. MileCell offers human mononuclear cells from these sources, alongside isolated immune subsets, separation reagents and cryopreservation products to help researchers select a starting material that matches their experiment.
Research Solutions for Human Immune Cells
Peripheral Blood Immune Cells
Human PBMCs retain a mixed population of lymphocytes and monocytes for immune response studies. Isolated CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD19+, CD56+ and CD14+ populations offer a more focused starting point. Choose mixed or isolated cells according to whether interactions among populations or a specific effector mechanism are central to the experiment.
Mobilized Peripheral Blood and Cord Blood
Mobilized PBMCs offer a source for hematopoietic progenitor enrichment, while CBMCs provide cord blood immune and progenitor populations. These sources differ from adult steady-state peripheral blood in composition and phenotype. Review lot information and perform any required enrichment before differentiation, gene modification or functional studies. Neither product should be labeled as a purified stem cell population.
Bone Marrow and Workflow Reagents
BMMCs provide a mixed bone marrow population for hematopoietic and niche-related research. Combine an appropriate starting source with validated isolation and cryopreservation steps where needed. MileCell MagSep and Kryogene products provide options for workflow development. Evaluate cell identity, recovery and function at the stages relevant to the final experiment.

FAQs
Can I obtain fresh and cryopreserved mononuclear cells?
The human PBMC, mobilized PBMC, CBMC and BMMC pages reviewed list both formats. Confirm current availability, package size and logistics for the selected product.
What should I specify when requesting cells?
Provide the source, required population, format, cell number and intended assay. Include any donor or phenotype requirements so availability and qualification can be checked.
