MileCell MagSep™ CD4 Positive Selection MicroBeads


Introduction:

CD4+ T cells play multifunctional roles in cell therapy. They exert anti-tumor effects through direct cytotoxic activity against cancer cells and enhance therapeutic efficacy by modulating the immune microenvironment and assisting other immune cells. This provides novel strategies for tumor immunotherapy, including adoptive cell therapy and cancer vaccines.

Product Overview:

MileCell MagSep CD4 MicroBeads employs nanoscale beads composed of dextran-coated iron oxide particles. These beads are designed to ensure no cytotoxicity or aberrant activation of cells. When used in a uniform magnetic field, only a minimal amount of beads is captured for cell labeling. Cells isolated via positive selection can be directly used in downstream applications such as cell expansion and single-cell sequencing.

Figure 1. Isolated CD4+ T cells were stimulated with coated anti-CD3/CD28 antibodies and cultured for 3 days, followed by flow cytometry detection of live cell density per well. Results show that under activated conditions post-separation, the cells exhibited significant proliferation (approximately 50%) compared with the unstimulated group. The Milecell MagSep™ CD4 MicroBeads group showed no significant difference from competitor products.

Figure 2. Using fresh PBMCs from a single donor as the starting material, target cell isolation was performed under identical conditions with three batches of Milecell MagSep™ CD4 MicroBeads. Post-separation comparison of cell viability, purity, and recovery showed that isolation with different batches of Milecell MagSep™ CD4 Positive Selection MicroBeads achieved consistent purity of 99%, high cell viability, stable recovery , and an inter-batch difference<0.5%, demonstrating stable quality and excellent performance.
